Don’t eat saturated fats, refined carbs and sugar

especially those who are attempting to conceive.
Steer clear of cigarettes and alcohol
Smoking can negatively affect hormone production and exposure to tobacco can harm the reproductive system. While it is not clear at what level the consumption of alcohol becomes dangerous, it is widely known that large amounts of alcohol can adversely
influence fertility. Improve your chances for success by avoiding the intake of negative substances altogether.
Restrict your caffeine consumption
Caffeine might seem harmless but it is one of the many enemies of a thriving and fertile reproductive system. Caffeine is known to delay conception by as much as 9 months depending on the level of consumption. It is also linked to miscarriage and still births. Find
ways to reduce your caffeine intake and give your baby the best chance for survival.
Avoid stress
Even though we all go through periods of stress learning how to properly manage stressful emotions is essential for women trying to conceive. Research shows that fertilization decreases when stress increases. In addition positive moods are more likely to lead to
successful live births. Finding people you can talk too can reduce stress and increase positivity in your life.
Refrain from too much work
Physical stress can also contribute to female infertility. In one study women who worked longer than 32 hours a week reportedly took longer to conceive. While those who worked between 16 and 32 hours reached conception sooner. If possible minimize your work
hours and make time to relax and enjoy life.
While there are lots of bad habits that can have a negative affect on your pregnancy journey there are also lots of good habits that can increase your chances of conception. Being aware of both the good and the bad can help you make more informed choices
about your health and the health of your unborn child.
