Uterine Fibroids
What is it? Fibroids are non-cancerous growths that develop in or around the womb. While they are not fatal they can cause severe abdominal pain.
Symptoms: Heavy bleeding, pelvic pain, back pain, frequent urination, lengthy menstrual period, leg pain * Symptoms are not always present
Treatments: Herbal remedies, anti-inflammatory medicines, oral progestogen, surgery
